Working for STEAM
We believe that outstanding teachers are the cornerstone of an outstanding school. By building on our teachers’ pedagogical practice through ongoing professional development we best serve the educational needs of our students and honor the concept of lifelong learning.
While the majority of our teachers will be from North America, UK or Australia, we will employ staff from around the globe. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in their teaching subject; and have a minimum of 2 years full-time, post-qualification experience. In return we offer a competitive salary; annual vacation flights; and comprehensive medical insurance.
Attracting and retaining employees of the highest caliber will be central to the continuing success of The STEAM International Schools. We hope that you are excited by the opportunities and challenges presented by such a prestigious new school and look forward to hearing from you.
We look for highly-trained, experienced educators who continually expand their subject knowledge and technology prowess, integrate new ways of teaching, and share their love of learning.
STEAM generally hires experienced, certificated teachers, preferably with a fifth year of academic preparation (i.e. bachelor’s degree plus 30 credits or a master’s degree) with at least two years of teaching experience.
STEAM seeks forward thinking, technologically adept teachers who are versed in a student-centered approach to instruction and who are familiar with international school environment.
We are building a team of teachers, leaders and administrative professionals to support the learning mission of STEAM international schools in Sweden. At STEAM, every vacancy represents an opportunity for us and, potentially, for you.
You’re an inspiring colleague with a wealth of experience. You’re a young professional looking for your next challenge. In every role you take on, you are dedicated and eager to contribute. You are ambitious, collaborative, and thoughtful.
You are the perfect fit for us.
