The American International School of Gothenburg offers an outstanding academic and extracurricular experience for our students, with a diverse and welcoming international school community comprised of nationalities from all over the world.
Implementation of 21st century skills in a variety of learning environments and learning spaces is the core content of AIS Philosophy of Education.
We look for highly-trained, experienced educators who continually expand their subject knowledge and technology prowess, integrate new ways of teaching, and share their love of learning.
AIS generally hires experienced, certificated teachers, preferably with a fifth year of academic preparation (i.e. bachelor’s degree plus 30 credits or a master’s degree) with at least two years of teaching experience.
AIS seeks forward thinking, technologically adept teachers who are versed in a student-centered approach to instruction and who are familiar with an American based curriculum in a multicultural, international school environment.
We are building a team of teachers, leaders and administrative professionals to support the learning mission of the school. At AIS, every vacancy represents an opportunity for us and, potentially, for you.
